Chesney Henry „Chet“ Baker, Jr. (* 23. december 1929, Yale, Oklahoma, USA – † 13. máj, 1988, Amsterdam, Holandsko) bol americký džezový trubkár, hráč na krídlovku a spevák.^[3] V roku 1987 bol uvedený do Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame. Počas svojej kariéry spolupracoval s hudobníkmi ako Stan Getz, Charlie Parker či Dexter Gordon. Slávnym sa stal ako hráč v kvartete s Gerrym Mulliganom. Zomrel v roku 1988 v Amsterdame, po páde z druhého poschodia hotelovej izby.
