Diskusia s redaktorom:MarkBA~skwiki: Rozdiel medzi revíziami

Today I saw your contributions in the Dutch wikipedia. I translated in a semi-automatic way a large number of places in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic into the Dutch wikipedia. The Dutch articles use a map with a red dot which indicates the location within the country. The German and the Czech wikipedia have stored the coordinates in a way that make conversion easy. It would be helpfull if the places in Slovakia down to the level of the obec (such as [[Krásnohorské Podhradie]]) contain these coordinates. A Czech example is on the [[:cs:Lhota (okres Kladno)]] page where a code like <nowiki>{{Geo cz|50|5|29|14|0|1|city(545)}}</nowiki> is shown. This is also an interface to websites like maps.google.com where you can find a satellite-image of this place. You can find the result of the translation on [[:nl:Lhota (okres Kladno)]]. You can find coordinates on this website: [http://gnswww.nga.mil/geonames/GNS/index.jsp http://gnswww.nga.mil/geonames/GNS/index.jsp].

:Sorry to have bothered you, it was just bad luck with my sample (Stichprobe). The quality of the entries in the sk.wikipedia is generally good enough to be converted semi-automatically. In the meantime I was able to convert the places in okres Piešťany without problems. [[Redaktor:Hanhil|Hanhil]] 07:42, 10. november 2007 (UTC)
