The Furkamotors Company is a Slovakian motorized bicycles manufacturer founded in 2012 by brothers Daniel Furka and Samuel Furka.[1][2]
Furkamotors is based in Bratislava, Slovakia (European Union). Furkamotors has stated that they produce up to 30 motorized bicycles per year, all assembled by hand. The waiting list for a motorized bicycle is approximately one month.[3] Motorized bicycles are designed in the classic elegant style of the thirties. [4]
Furkamotors bicycles are unusual because they used gas engines on classical designed steel frames. Apart from this company, there is no other company in Europe that uses an internal combustion engine to power motorized bicycles.[5]
