Dennis Meadows

Dennis L. Meadows (* 7. jún 1942, Montana, USA) je americký ekonóm, prognostik a futurológ. Známym sa stal ako vedúci autorského kolektívu prvej správy pre Rímsky klub pod názvom Limity rastu.

Rímsky klub

Dennis Meadows viedol medzinárodný autorský kolektív, ktorý vytvoril prvú správu pre Rímsky klub s názvom Limity rastu (The Limits to Growth. A Report for the Club of Rome´s Project on the Predicament of Mankind). Táto správa bola publikovaná v roku 1972 a vyvolala veľkú diskusiu. V roku 1992 bol spoluautorom dvadsaťročnej aktualizácie Limitov rastu, ktorá vyšla pod názvom Prekročené limity (Beyond the Limits. Confronting Global Collapse Envisioning a Sustainable Future) a v roku 2004 ako spoluautor publikoval 30 ročnú aktualizáciu Limitov rastu.
