Deutsch: Zeichen 388 – Seitenstreifen für mehrspurige Kraftfahrzeuge nicht befahrbar. Dieses Zeichen wurde in dieser Form mit der Gestaltungsnovelle von 1992 eingeführt. Das Zeichen ist mit Datum zum 1. April 2013 ersatzlos aus der StVO gestrichen und darf nicht mehr angeordnet werden. Die Lichtkantenbreite beträgt 10 mm, der schwarze Rahmen ist 15 mm breit. Das Zeichen war in den Größen 315x420 mm, 450x600 mm sowie 562x750 mm erhältlich.
