Teória preadaptácie

Teória preadaptácie (v ang. Co-Option theory) je evolučná teória, vysvetľujúca možnosť vzniku nezjednodušiteľne zložitých systémov z jednoduchších predchodcov majúcich pôvodne iné, s nezjednodušiteľne zložitým systémom nesúvisiace funkcie.
