- In this short video I would like to show, how the pyrography (wood drawing / wood burning) works.

- Usually I draw the lines first with pencil and then I burn them onto the wood.
- Obyčajne najprv narysujem čiary ceruzou a potom ich vypaľujem do dreva.
- For the pyrography I use a pen-form soldering-iron.
- Na vypaľovanie do dreva používam hrotovú spájkovačku.
- Although it is thin, sometimes we must hold the iron with two hands.
- Hoci je spájkovačka tenká, niekedy ju musím držať oboma rukami.
- We have to heat the soldering-iron for 5 minutes, after that we could use that.
- Spájkovačku treba päť minút zahrievať, potom ju môžeme použiť.
- We could not burn the curve lines with one move.
- Nemohli by sme vypaľovať krivky jedným ťahom.
- It's not all the same, which kind of wood we use.
- Nie je jedno, aké drevo použijeme.
- For pyrography the best woods are: beech, birch, oak, pine.
- Na vypaľovanie do dreva sú najlepšie drevá: buk, breza, dub, smrek.
- According to me the best wood is the oak. When I used pine, it was a little bit stinky.
- Podľa môjho názoru najlepšie drevo je dub. Keď som použil smrek, bol trochu smradľavý.
- If we would like to make darker a part (of the picture), we have to push the soldering-iron onto the wood a little bit more.
- Keď chceme robiť tmavšiu časť (obrazu), musíme vtlačiť spájkovačku do dreva trochu viac.
