Salvestrol
Salvestrol je prírodná diétna fytochemikália, ktorá sa môže zmeniť na cytotoxický metabolit enzýmom Cytochrom P450, ktorý sa preplňuje v rakovinových bunkách.[1] Meno „salvestrol“ vymyslel Gerlad Potter.[2] Salvestrol má ochrannú známku a používa sa v obchode výživových doplnkov a iných produktov.[3][4] Niektoré produkty založené na salvestrole obsahujú extrakty z ríbezle čiernej, čučoriedok, jahôd a z kôry mandarínkovníka.[5]
